Commercial Litigation Associate, San Diego · Vault Top-Ranked Firm

A Vault top-ranked national firm is seeking an experienced commercial litigator to join its San Diego office. This role centers on complex business disputes in state and federal courts, with substantial client interaction and trial responsibility.

The work:

• Develop and execute litigation strategy on business disputes
• Manage discovery, pleadings, motions, and appellate filings
• Conduct and defend depositions; prepare witnesses for testimony
• Argue motions and appear at hearings
• Prepare cases for trial and participate in settlement negotiations
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and team members
• Independently manage significant aspects of litigation matters

What they're looking for:

• 6+ years of commercial litigation experience
• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy
• Demonstrated ability managing complex litigation in state and federal courts
• Capacity to build client relationships and work collaboratively
• JD from ABA-approved law school; California Bar membership in good standing
• Top academic credentials
