Commercial Litigation Associate, New York City · AmLaw Global 100
An AmLaw Global 100 firm seeks a mid-level commercial litigation associate for the New York office. You'll handle complex commercial litigation matters, working on research, writing, and analysis of significant cases. The role includes client-facing work and participation in business development through client pitches and presentations. Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) litigation experience is particularly valued.
The work:
- Support complex commercial litigation matters across all phases
- Conduct legal research and writing on commercial disputes
- Perform sophisticated factual and legal analysis
- Present work to clients and participate in business development
- Contribute to case strategy and motion practice
What they're looking for:
- 3 to 5 years of commercial litigation experience
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Strong academic record
- New York bar admission (required, in good standing)
- Outstanding research, writing, and analytical abilities
- Prior law firm experience preferred
- FCRA litigation background strongly preferred
