A litigation firm in Los Angeles seeks a senior associate to join its commercial disputes practice. The role offers significant case management responsibility and direct client engagement on complex commercial matters from inception through resolution.

The work:

• Developing and executing litigation strategy on complex matters
• Managing discovery, including document review and written interrogatory responses
• Drafting and arguing motions and substantive briefs in state and federal court
• Conducting and defending depositions
• Preparing trial materials and supporting trial execution
• Mentoring junior attorneys and coordinating with outside support vendors
• Providing strategic and business-focused counsel to clients

What they're looking for:

• JD from an accredited law school with California bar admission
• Minimum six years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm
• Proven motion practice and discovery management experience
• Strong legal research, analytical, and oral advocacy abilities
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent matters effectively
• Leadership experience with junior attorneys and collaborative teams
• Salary $310,000 to $330,000, plus comprehensive benefits package and performance bonus opportunity
