Commercial Litigation Associate, Chicago · Top 100 National Firm

Top 100 national firm with 46 offices and 1,400+ attorneys seeks a commercial litigator with 5+ years of experience to manage complex class action defense, with emphasis on cybersecurity and privacy disputes.

The work:

• Drive all phases of state and federal commercial litigation
• Author pleadings, dispositive motions, and appellate briefs
• Manage discovery, depositions, and e-discovery workflows
• Develop litigation strategy and represent clients in court, mediations, and negotiations
• Partner with clients and subject matter experts to achieve case outcomes
• Maintain multiple active matters while meeting tight deadlines

What they're looking for:

• 5-15+ years of commercial litigation background
• Strong class action defense experience; cyber and privacy litigation a plus
• Motion practice proficiency and legal research platform skills
• Demonstrated legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Active bar license in relevant jurisdiction
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Hybrid arrangement based in Chicago with flexibility for other U.S. offices
