Civil Litigation Associate, Salt Lake City, UT · Utah-Based Firm

Utah-based firm seeking civil litigation attorney with hands-on experience defending personal injury and construction defect claims. This role combines substantive litigation work with client relationship development, offering exposure to trial preparation and courtroom experience in a collegial, professionally-managed environment.

The work:

• Defend personal injury and construction defect claims in Utah courts
• Conduct client consultations, case analysis, and strategic planning
• Manage discovery, depositions, and motion practice
• Prepare for and appear at hearings and trials
• Develop client relationships and pursue business development
• Work independently on multiple cases across various subject matters

What they're looking for:

• 2–8 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in personal injury or construction defect defense
• Current Utah bar license; ability and willingness to travel for court appearances
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to independently manage case files from inception through resolution
• Trial experience preferred; deposition experience essential
• Business development interest and client-focused approach
