A top-tier law firm seeks an experienced attorney to serve as dedicated legal resource for institutional investor clients navigating fund investments, co-investments, secondary transactions, and governance matters. This career associate role offers substantial autonomy and the opportunity to build deep client relationships while handling a high-volume transactional workflow across asset classes and geographies.

The work:

• Draft, review, and negotiate subscription agreements, transfer agreements, and documentation for fund transactions
• Handle KYC/AML processes and investment structuring for alternative asset transactions
• Coordinate with corporate, tax, regulatory, and client teams to implement transactions accurately
• Manage recurring transaction pipelines, track deliverables, and maintain organized records
• Build and refine document templates, precedent libraries, and workflow improvements to reduce risk and increase efficiency
• Apply legal judgment on transactional documentation and fund structure matters
• Serve as practical, responsive partner to clients and internal teams

What they're looking for:

• Juris Doctor and bar admission
• 5+ years of transactional and asset management experience at a law firm or institutional investor
• Strong drafting, analysis, and project management skills with ability to manage high-volume matters independently
• Knowledge of fund investment, co-investment, and secondary transaction documentation
• Demonstrated ability to develop or maintain templates and precedent resources
• Ability to build trusted client relationships and work across disciplines
• Responsible use of AI technologies in legal work
