Capital Markets Associate, Washington, DC · Leading Corporate & Securities Firm

A global law firm with deep expertise in corporate and securities matters seeks a mid-level associate for its Washington, DC office. The firm represents over 100 public company clients ranging from newly public to S&P 500 companies, and is recognized as Tier 1 in Corporate Governance by Legal 500 US and Band 2 in Corporate Governance and Securities Regulation Advisory by Chambers USA.

The work:

• Advising public company clients on corporate governance and regulatory compliance matters
• Capital markets transactions and securities matters under securities laws
• Securities Act of 1933 and Securities Exchange Act of 1934 work
• Supporting senior lawyers on complex transactions and client representations

What they're looking for:

• 2-3 years of law firm experience in corporate and securities matters
• Thorough understanding of securities law and public company regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working on public company matters and transactions

Compensation: $235,000-$260,000 base salary, plus annual performance bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
