Capital Markets Associate, New York City · AmLaw 100 Firm

An AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a mid-to-senior associate for its New York capital markets practice. You'll focus on equity offerings—from IPOs to follow-ons to private placements—working with underwriters, issuers, and placement agents.

The work:

• Advise on IPOs, follow-on public offerings, and related securities regulatory matters
• Handle private placements and other equity financings for companies at various stages
• Draft and review offering documents, prospectuses, and related transaction agreements
• Coordinate with underwriting syndicates, issuer counsel, and company management
• Support public company clients in ongoing securities compliance

What they're looking for:

• 4 to 7 years of capital markets or securities offering experience
• Direct experience with IPO processes and underwriting mechanics
• Comfortable managing complex offerings and associated documentation
• New York bar membership (currently active)
• Prior work with public companies preferred but not required

Compensation: $265K–$420K range with standard law firm benefits.
