Capital Markets Associate, Houston · AmLaw 50 Firm

This AmLaw 50 firm's capital markets practice represents underwriters, issuers, and placement agents in securities offerings. The Houston office is seeking a mid-level associate with experience in public and private offerings. You'd work on IPOs, follow-on offerings, and private placements.

The work:

• Represent underwriters and issuers in IPO and follow-on public offerings
• Advise placement agents on private placement transactions
• Handle securities law compliance and documentation
• Work on SEC compliance for public companies

What they're looking for:

• 3 to 5 years of capital markets experience
• Texas bar membership
• Strong background in underwriting and securities offerings
• Experience with SEC compliance is valued
• Excellent analytical and drafting skills

Compensation: $235,000 to $365,000, with a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), health coverage, flexible spending, paid family leave, and professional development support.
