Top-tier AmLaw 50 firm is building its commercial mortgage securitization practice in the Charlotte office. This role offers hands-on experience with sophisticated CMBS transactions and the operational details of complex deal closings.

The work:

• Draft and negotiate pooling and servicing agreements
• Prepare offering documents, mortgage loan purchase agreements, and placement agency agreements
• Handle certificate purchase agreements and related transaction documents
• Coordinate multi-party securitization closings from documentation through funding
• Provide legal opinions and memoranda

What they're looking for:

• 3 to 6 years of direct CMBS or commercial mortgage securitization experience
• Strong document drafting and review capabilities
• Ability to manage transaction timelines and stakeholder coordination
• Meticulous attention to detail and clear written communication
• Team orientation with ownership mentality on client matters

Base salary: $260,000 to $390,000, plus performance bonuses and firm benefits including relocation assistance.
