Business Tax Associate, Multiple US Locations · AmLaw 100 Firm

AmLaw 100 firm seeks a transactional tax associate with strong technical skills to join its nationally recognized Business Tax practice.

The work:

• Tax planning and structuring for domestic and cross-border M&A transactions
• Private equity fund formation, sponsor-level planning, and secondary transactions
• Tax credit investments (new markets, historic, low-income housing, energy credits)
• Complex cross-border acquisitions, financings, and international investments
• Partnership and LLC structuring, joint ventures, and corporate reorganizations
• Tax compliance and strategy for funds, nonprofits, and investment sponsors

What they're looking for:

• 3+ years of law firm tax experience
• LL.M. in taxation required
• Strong technical tax knowledge and transactional experience
• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort with sophisticated tax analysis and cross-practice collaboration
