A leading restructuring firm's New York office is building its bankruptcy team. The opening is for an associate with hands-on experience in bankruptcy proceedings and financial restructuring matters.

The work:

• Represent companies and creditors in Chapter 11 reorganizations, liquidations, and out-of-court restructurings
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings in bankruptcy proceedings
• Manage debtor interviews, asset analysis, and claim review processes
• Advise on creditor rights, plan negotiations, and plan implementation

What they're looking for:

• 2–4 years of bankruptcy or insolvency experience
• Practical exposure to case management and court filings
• Understanding of bankruptcy code and procedures
• Ability to manage multiple files and competing deadlines
