Banking Associate, New York · Magic Circle Firm

Magic Circle firm seeking a banking associate with 5-9 years of transactional experience for its New York office. The role spans acquisition finance, leveraged finance, infrastructure finance, fund finance, trade finance, and restructuring. You'll work on both US domestic and international transactions for sponsors, borrowers, arrangers, lenders, and agents.

The work:

• Structuring and closing acquisition finance transactions
• Managing leveraged finance deals and documentation
• Handling infrastructure and fund finance matters
• Advising on trade finance and syndicated lending
• Solving debt restructuring problems for financial institution clients

What they're looking for:

• 5-9 years of post-JD or LLM experience
• Strong transactional background at a major law firm
• Comfort with legal AI tools and collaborative practice
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proactive, adaptable approach to complex deals

Base salary $365,000-$435,000, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.
