Associate, Washington, DC · Vault Top 10 Firm

This is a 3rd to 5th year associate role within the Private Equity group at a Vault Top 10 firm. You will advise leading private equity sponsors on acquisitions and dispositions of portfolio companies, handling meaningful client responsibility and transaction management on sophisticated deals.

The work:

• Represent PE sponsors in acquisitions and portfolio company sales
• Manage key transaction workstreams and client coordination
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents
• Provide strategic counsel on deal structures and risk analysis

What they're looking for:

• 3-5 years of private equity transaction experience
• DC Bar admission in good standing
• Strong academic record
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex M&A transactions
• Excellent drafting and communication skills

Compensation: $260,000-$365,000.
