This role involves drafting and negotiating contracts for energy, transport, and renewable projects, often working with multiple sponsors, lenders, and contractors. You'll coordinate legal work through development stages—planning, funding, construction, and operations—and maintain regular contact with clients on project progress and issues.

The work:

• Draft and review project agreements, construction contracts, procurement documents, and power purchase agreements
• Support project management and legal coordination across timelines and deliverables
• Collaborate with the deal team to deliver comprehensive client support
• Maintain client communication on status, concerns, and developments

What they're looking for:

• Australian qualified with 2–4 years post-qualification experience
• Background in major projects, energy, or infrastructure, especially transport, power, or renewables
• Experience working with consortiums, financiers, equity investors, and bidding contractors
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building ability
• Excellent drafting and attention to detail
• Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
