A Magic Circle firm's Capital Markets team in New York is recruiting junior to mid-level lateral associates with 2–4 years of law firm experience. The practice focuses on debt capital markets (high-yield and investment-grade securities offerings), equity offerings (public and private placements), and general corporate advisory work. You'll counsel public companies on disclosure obligations and governance matters. The team values strong academics, proven law firm experience, and demonstrated expertise in capital markets transactions.

The work:

• Structure and advise on debt offerings across the capital markets spectrum (investment-grade and high-yield)
• Support equity offerings, including public and private placements
• Counsel on public company disclosure obligations and corporate governance
• Advise corporate clients on capital markets and securities matters

• 2–4 years of capital markets or general corporate law experience
• Strong academic credentials and law firm background
