This Vault top 10 technology and innovation firm advises companies and their investors across the life sciences sector. As a mid-level associate in the private companies practice, you'll join a national team working with venture-backed companies from early stage through exit, handling corporate and transactional work.

The work:

• Advise venture-backed life sciences companies on general corporate matters and strategic direction
• Structure and negotiate venture capital financings and subsequent funding rounds
• Support M&A and liquidity events including exits
• Handle cap table management, governance, and equity compensation
• Develop your own client relationships and build a practice

What they're looking for:

• 3-6 years of corporate law experience with venture-backed companies
• Demonstrated background in life sciences transactions, preferably at a major firm
• Track record advising companies through growth cycles and fundraising rounds
• Law degree from a nationally recognized school
• Compensation $260,000-$390,000 depending on location and background
