An AmLaw top 20 firm is seeking a mid-to-senior associate to join its investment management and private funds practice. The role centers on fund formation, investment structuring, and transactions with private equity sponsors and hedge fund managers.

The work:

• Formation and structuring of private equity funds and hedge funds
• Co-investment transactions and secondary market activity
• GP continuation funds and other fund restructuring solutions
• Fund documentation and governance arrangements
• Legal advisory on institutional investments and sponsor relationships

What they're looking for:

• Four to seven years of experience in fund formation and investment management
• Strong expertise in private equity structuring and transaction documentation
• Superior drafting and negotiation capabilities
• Commercial acumen and the ability to oversee complex transactions
• Track record working with institutional investors and fund sponsors
