Vault Top 10 firm seeking a healthcare privacy associate with minimum 4 years of experience advising on healthcare regulatory and data protection matters. You'll counsel healthcare providers and digital health companies on HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA, and healthcare fraud and abuse laws, as well as emerging AI regulation in healthcare. This role spans regulatory counseling and transactions.

The work:

• Advise on HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA, and healthcare fraud and abuse laws (Stark, anti-kickback statutes)
• Counsel digital health companies and healthcare providers on data privacy and AI regulation
• Handle transactions and regulatory matters requiring deep healthcare sector knowledge
• Develop data protection strategies and manage regulatory risk mitigation
• Draft regulatory agreements and negotiate with clients and counterparties

What they're looking for:

• Minimum 4 years of healthcare regulatory and data privacy experience
• Background advising healthcare providers, digital health companies, or similar healthcare organizations
• Expertise in HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA, and healthcare fraud and abuse compliance
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and project management skills
• Strong academic record and law firm background
