Associate, London · Global Finance Powerhouse

Global law firm with market leadership in finance, technology, and infrastructure. The role is based in London and focuses on corporate M&A transactions in the private equity space.

The work:

• Manage corporate transactions from initiation through closing
• Prepare and negotiate transaction documents (purchase agreements, disclosure letters, shareholder and joint venture agreements)
• Lead key transaction workstreams and coordinate across jurisdictions
• Work directly with clients to understand their needs and structure optimal solutions
• Build and maintain client relationships within the corporate sector

What they're looking for:

• Corporate transactional experience at associate or senior associate level
• Demonstrated proficiency in private M&A, private equity, and infrastructure transactions
• Excellent drafting and negotiation capability
• Experience leading transactions and managing transaction document workstreams
• Client-facing experience and commercial judgment
• Ability to coordinate multi-jurisdictional teams
