Associate, Houston · Vault Top 10 Firm

Top-tier global banking and private credit practice seeking an associate to join its market-leading Houston office. The practice advises hundreds of billions in annual financings across syndicated lending, leveraged finance, and private credit markets, serving a diverse client base of borrowers, arrangers, and direct lenders.

The work:

• Advise on complex lending structures including syndicated loans, leveraged buyouts, and acquisition financings
• Document and structure first and second lien loans, unitranche transactions, mezzanine financing, and asset-based lending
• Work on transactions ranging from middle-market deals to multi-billion dollar financings
• Navigate complex intercreditor arrangements, subordination agreements, and restructuring matters

What they're looking for:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance, acquisition finance, leveraged finance, or private credit
• Background in energy and infrastructure sectors strongly preferred
• Ability to manage complex client relationships with banks, sponsors, and direct lenders
• Strong analytical and drafting skills with interest in structured finance
