A major law firm seeks a senior-level associate to join its emerging technologies and data privacy team within the entertainment and media group. This role focuses on cutting-edge privacy issues, technology transactions, and product compliance work.

The work:

• Privacy and product compliance counseling and transactions
• Technology and data transactions, including data processing agreements
• Privacy policy drafting and data protection impact assessments
• Data breach response and incident management
• AdTech, digital media, and digital advertising transactions
• Emerging privacy issues including AI, health data, biometric data, and child privacy
• Internal data protection programs and privacy assessments

What they're looking for:

• 6+ years of experience in emerging technologies, data privacy, or advertising and marketing
• Active member of the Illinois state bar
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with digital advertising technology and AI legal issues

Compensation: $325,000 to $435,000, plus comprehensive benefits including 401(k), health insurance, paid leave, and professional development support.
