Leading venture capital and technology law firm seeking an associate in debt financing for offices in Boston or New York (2+ years post-bar).

The work:

• Advising growth-stage companies and institutional investors on debt capital structures and commercial lending arrangements
• Structuring venture debt, recurring revenue financing, and asset-based lending facilities
• Negotiating bilateral and syndicated loan documents and secured transaction agreements
• Counseling company boards and management teams on financing strategies and capital allocation
• Supporting venture fund investors in fund finance arrangements

What they're looking for:

• 2–4 years of debt financing experience at a major law firm or debt finance specialist
• Background serving venture-backed and growth-stage companies in the technology and life sciences sectors
• Strong client relationship skills, including interaction with C-suite and board-level executives
• Admitted or eligible for admission in Massachusetts or New York
• Compensation: $235,000–$310,000
