Regional litigation firm specializing in general and professional liability defense seeks an associate with 2-8 years of experience to join the Miami office and develop expertise in client-focused defense work.

The work:

• Manage general and professional liability litigation matters
• Draft pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and memoranda
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategy
• Participate in depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
• Represent clients in court proceedings and settlement negotiations
• Build relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers

What they're looking for:

• 2-8 years of general liability or professional liability defense experience
• Active license to practice law in Florida or ability to obtain
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
