A leading venture capital practice seeks a junior associate to join its corporate group in Ann Arbor. The firm focuses on the startup and emerging growth ecosystem, and this role offers direct exposure to early-stage company formation, venture capital financings, and strategic acquisitions.

The work:

• Advise seed and venture-backed startups on formation and governance
• Structure venture capital and growth equity financings
• Handle mergers and acquisitions for emerging companies
• Support portfolio company transactions and strategic ventures

What they're looking for:

• JD from 2023-2024 (recent graduates welcome)
• Demonstrated interest in the startup and venture ecosystem
• Current license to practice in any U.S. state (in good standing)
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Team-oriented and collaborative approach

This is a motivated group working with founders and early-stage investors. Salary range: $235,000-$260,000.
