Asset Finance Associate, Miami · Global Finance Powerhouse

A top-tier global firm is seeking a mid-level associate for its project development and finance practice in Miami. You'll handle asset finance and aircraft leasing transactions, working with senior practitioners and colleagues from M&A, capital markets, and compliance on cross-border deals.

The work:

• Develop and negotiate credit facilities, syndicated loan agreements, and equipment lease agreements
• Draft security documentation, sale and purchase agreements, and maintenance agreements
• Collaborate on structured finance products with banking and capital markets teams
• Manage transaction execution including document preparation, negotiation, and closing
• Coordinate with investment, risk, and compliance teams on regulatory compliance
• Monitor market developments affecting aircraft finance and equipment leasing

What they're looking for:

• 2+ years of aircraft finance and leasing experience
• JD from accredited law school (LLM or foreign equivalent acceptable)
• Admitted to Florida Bar (or eligible for admission) in good standing
• Strong academic credentials
• Business judgment and strategic thinking
• Excellent drafting and communication skills
• Fluency in English; Spanish fluency preferred
• Self-starter with strong project management skills and team orientation
