A Vault top 30 firm's antitrust practice seeks associates with 1-8 years of experience to handle transactional and enforcement matters for major corporations and financial institutions. Work spans Hart-Scott-Rodino filings, Second Request responses, compliance counseling, and client representation before the Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, and state enforcement agencies.

The work:

• Review and advise on antitrust risk in mergers, acquisitions, and complex transactions
• Prepare filings and respond to government investigations and information requests
• Counsel clients on antitrust compliance strategies and competitive implications
• Represent clients before federal and state enforcement agencies
• Work across diverse industries with sophisticated institutional clients

What they're looking for:

• 1-8 years of law firm antitrust or competition law experience
• Bar admission or eligibility in Washington, DC or New York
• Demonstrated exposure to government investigations, merger review, and transactional analysis
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Compensation: $235K–$460K annually, scaled to experience
